Dietrich Alker and Günter Bredtmann establish the company Silex GmbH in Herne. For this purpose 1100 m² production area, 300 m² office and 1000 m² open space are hired.

Relocation of the production in a new hall of about 2300 m².

Extension of the production area by 400 m² for the shipping department.

Dietrich Alker retires and leaves the company.

Another hall with 1000 m² production- and storage area and 220m² office space for sales and administration is hired and another 1400 m² open space.

Günter Bredtmann retires and leaves the company. Oliver Fleischer, Herman Kleinepier, and Dirk Möller take over Silex by Management Buy Out.
