New hoses, profiles and gaskets with low coefficient of friction

The surface of untreated silicone rubber articles feels relatively blunt. This behaviour is helpless or irrelevant for a lot of applications. In some cases a surface less blunt is however needed.

Therefore Silex offers you 3 different possibilities of surface modifications:

• Coating
  Low coefficient of friction by using special coatings. Partly coating is possible.
  
  
• Chemical modification
  The result is an extremely homogenous surface. Partly coating in principle not possible.
  
  
• Rubber modification
  The haptic is different in comparison to the other processes. Excellent life time.
